Client: World Vision International Rwanda
Contract timeline: August – November 2017
Objective:
The main objective is to assess the project’s performance and impacts resulting from its interventions along the logical framework.
Scope of the assignment:
This evaluation is mainly informed by the logical framework of the project. The assessment focuses on finding out the extent to which the intended overall objective is achieved. Individual components of the project were supposed to contribute to the overall project’s goal of improving people’s income at a level of at least 150%. This simply depicts the need to demonstrate if and the extent to which the project’s goal has been achieved.
The evaluation provided insights on:
- The progress made towards achieving the objectives and outcomes of the project;
- Impact of project’s interventions on the lives of targeted people, that include the families, communities and government departments involved in the implementation of the intervention;
- Project ownership and stakeholders participation;
- Intended and unintended project’s impacts, best practices, lessons learnt, and challenges from project execution.
- Major conclusions and recommendations for learning and future interventions.
