Research and Consultancy services are among the core activities of the Centre. Since its creation, HLC-L4D has been active in research and in providing evidence with the aim to inform and shape interventions across sectors and organizations thanks to its dedicated and experienced team of research experts in the fields of socio-economic, agriculture as well as environment and natural resources management.
Furthermore, economic perspective of gender analysis is also considered as key cross-cutting research of the Centre. The personnel is composed of permanent staff, collaborators from university and research institutes, affiliated and visiting researchers, and graduate internees at Masters level serving on a part-time basis.
