Objective:
To come up with reliable and accurate results to assess the project’s achievements against what was planned, this survey was guided by the following objectives:
- To study and analyze the socio-cultural background and situation of the communities;
- To ascertain the current socioeconomic situation of the five target villages;
- To determine the agricultural and rural development status in the project areas,
- To establish the current performance of the project as compared to the baseline conditions
- To assess the level of living conditions of sampled households;
Scope of the assignment:
This end-line survey is mainly informed by the pre-established Monitoring and Evaluation Framework of the Project. The main objective was to assess the performance of the project along key and major indicators identified during the inception phase of the project to inform on the change of people’s livelihoods. These include the increase in household income, change in production for both crops and livestock, the adoption level of improved agricultural practices promoted by the project, among others.
