Dr. Joseph P. Musara

Joseph P. Musara is a Senior Research Fellow at the Highlands Centre of Leadership for Development in Rwanda. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and Management who trained as an agricultural economist and has over 15 years’ experience of working in research and development. He is a member of the Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AAESA) and the Association of Agricultural Economists of Zimbabwe (AAEZ). His areas of research interest include food security, resilient rural livelihoods, and value chain analysis. He has comprehensive understanding and application of several methodologies in econometric modelling, rural agricultural marketing networks, and innovation adoption programming. Joseph has good communication, analytical, team work and conceptual competencies for fitting in diverse socio-cultural environments.
