Mrs. Odette Mutangiza

Mrs. Odette MUTANGIZA is a social scientist with academic background in Rural Development and Agribusiness. She holds a Master’s degree in Rural Development from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). With 5 years experiences in project management, research and consultancy in areas of agriculture, gender and socio-economic related studies. Over the past 5years, she worked on more than 20 different projects, that equipped her with knowledge and skills in areas of qualitative and quantitative research approaches, data analysis, report writing, field supervision and project management. As results of hard work, ability to multitask multiple responsibilities, and deliver high-quality results, she is currently working as the research operations manager of the High Lands Centre of Leadership for Development. Her long-term vision is to pursue paths to becoming a good leader and a mentor to young generation (especially women) who want to develop their skills and knowledge in agriculture related research, rural development related Initiatives and gender. She has got good decision-making skills, team working skills, communication, time management, interpersonal and organization skills.
